A weekend full of fun!

There is lots to do this week end. Meadview is having their Coyote Melon Festival Sept. 19-20, 2009. There will be a Chili Cook-Off, a Mtn Challenge, a Coyote Melon Launching Contest, a Nugget Shooting Derby, a Treasure Hunt, and an Art Contest. With live music consisting of a Native American Flute, Country Western, Folk, and Jock & The Jock-Offs. The whole shebang is free. That's right, FREE.

VFW Post 9833, 15943 N. Pierce Ferry Road, Dolan Springs, is throwing a Fish Fry on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4:30 - 7:00.

If you choose to stay in town this weekend, enjoy Kingman's Street Drags VI. It will be held Sept. 18-20 in historic down town Kingman, on Beale St. There will be plenty to see: street cars, funny cars, and the burnout contests.

The Bike Show at Kingman Street Drags VI Block Party will be at Fourth and Beale Streets, Downtown Kingman, Saturday, Sept 19, 2009.So much to do, so little time.

I'll be hanging with my kids at the Street Drags on Saturday. Hope to see you there.
